Giant Monitor Lizard Adventure
DAY
01 : DENPASAR - BIMA (SUMBAWA ISLAND) - KOMODO
Arrive Bima, meet and drive to Sape harbor about 40 km (an hour drive)
to the East and board on a wooden boat (a local fisherman's boat
which have been modified to enable and suitable for carrying tourist.
Equipped by radio navigation, electricity, and toilet, one cabin bunk
that has 6 - 8beds, life jacket and mattress) Then boating to Komodo
Island for 6 hours. Lunch will be served on board. Late afternoon arrive
at Komodo Island, anchor and overnight on board. (L,D)
DAY
02 : KOMODO - BIMA
After breakfast walk for 1.5 miles to Banugulung to see the activities
of the giant Monitor Lizard "Komodo Dragon" which was scientifically
described in 1912 as VARANUS KOMODOENSIS. The total number of these
lizards are estimated about 3.500 - 5.000 inhabited in Komodo, Padar,
Rinca Island and Western Flores. Return to the boat and an opportunity
to swim or beaching at Pink Beach. Lunch will be served on boat. Boating
back to Sape then drive to Bima. Upon arrival direct check-in to La'Mbitu
Hotel. (B,L,D)
DAY
03 : BIMA - DENPASAR (BALI)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport to depart for Denpasar-Bali.

DAYS / 1 NIGHTS RINCA The Natural Adventure
DAY
01 : DENPASAR - LABUANBJO (WESTERN FLORES) - RINCA
Transfer to the airport to depart for Labuanbajo (Western Flores). Arrive
Labuanbajo, meet and transfer to the harbor about 15 minutes and board
on a real local wooden boat which sometimes only a deck is available.
Then boating to Rinca Island for about an hour. Lunch will be served
on board. Arrive on Rinca Island, direct have an afternoon trekk. The
Komodo on this island is never fed. It is a real adventure to find the
dragon as they live in their natural habitat. Back to the boat for Dinner
and overnight. (L,D)
DAY
02 : RINCA - LABUANBAJO - DENPASAR
After breakfast, set out to Labuanbajo and direct drive to Airport for
flight back to Denpasar. (B)
